What sits on a typical bottle line
On a running hall floor, the bottle filling machine is rarely alone. Upstream you may have a blower or unscrambler; downstream, labeling and shrink packing. The filler block itself usually does three jobs in one frame:
- Rinse — jet or spray rinse before fill (water-saving heads on our CGF-type monoblocks)
- Fill — gravity for still water / many juices; isobaric-style filling when CO₂ has to stay in the drink
- Cap — electromagnetic or mechanical capping with “no bottle, no cap” logic
If someone on your team says bottle filler, they often mean the valve carousel. If purchasing says bottle filling machine, they usually mean this whole 3-in-1. We quote both ways so engineering and commercial teams are looking at the same scope.
Which bottle filling machine for which drink
Purified / mineral water (PET or glass)
Still water is the most common brief we see. Rotary 3-in-1 units in the CGF family cover roughly 1,000–20,000 BPH depending on heads (for example CGF18-18-6 around 5,000–7,000 BPH on 500 ml—confirm against the datasheet for your bottle). Contact parts in 304 / 316 stainless, level that can be fine-tuned after fill.

Juice / tea
Hot-fill or higher hygiene paths, PET or glass. Pulp, sugar, and temperature change how you size valves and tanks—don’t copy a water filler 1:1.

Dual-format on one carousel sounds convenient; many plants run cleaner with two dedicated bottle filling machines. We’ll say so if that’s the case.

Send these six items and the first proposal is faster:
- Liquid and temperature
- Bottle drawing + neck finish + volume range
- Target BPH now, and in 24 months
- Cap type
- Utilities (air, CO₂, steam, power)
- Whether you already have a blower—or need blowing / combi in scope
Quotes go sideways when BPH is given without bottle volume, or when a water monoblock is assumed for juice. Better to over-share drawings than under-share.
